Jane Lanford, a well-known distance runner in interior Alaska, and her husband, Steve, have generously donated the cost of the rental fee for the 2018 Chena River to Ridge staging facility. It’s a win-win for all involved, as all fees for renting the Twin Bears camp help to support the Fairbanks Rescue Mission, the region’s only overnight emergency shelter. Jane and Steve, of course, get lots of good karma and our humble gratitude.

Huge shoutout to Bagels & Brew for helping us feed racers! They will work their magic and make awesome sandwich/lunch bags for racers to snatch up post race.
If you go there before the race, please tell them thanks 🙂. We are extremely excited and appreciative! ... See MoreSee Less

Thank you, racers! We filled up in under 24 hours!
Didn’t get in, but still want to? We have partnered with Team RWB to raffle off one bike entry (distance TBD). All you have to do is: 1) like the Team RWB Fairbanks page, 2) download/use the RWB app, and 3) ride your bike. Ron Oliver will be leading training rides and raffle entries will be based on use of the app and training ride attendance.
Stay tuned and let CR2R know if you have any questions. Visit teamrwb.org for more info on this amazing group. ... See MoreSee Less
